The plugin as an official Chrome sidepanel: faster, calmer, and compliant

As you know, we’re taking a few steps toward a plugin that’s fully independent from the pages you work on, with the goal of offering a plugin that’s reliable no matter the account type or the specific version of your favorite platform.

With this release, we’re wrapping up the series: the NIXZ Plugin is now available as a true “standalone” Chrome side panel, exactly the way Google intended it.

What’s changing?

👉 Important: From now on, you open and close the plugin via Chrome itself, instead of using the handle (the little label on the right side of the page) which is being phased out:

• Click the NIXZ icon in your Chrome toolbar to open or close the plugin.
• If you haven’t pinned the plugin to your toolbar yet, click the puzzle icon and then the pin 📌 next to the NIXZ Plugin.

Why this works better

The side panel immediately comes with a few great benefits:

• The plugin can no longer cover important features, like the chat.
• The plugin no longer needs to reload when you switch between (profile) pages, so you can keep moving faster.
• The plugin feels calmer, more stable, and more predictable.

Also usable outside your current platform

An extra benefit of these improvements: you can now use the NIXZ Plugin on other websites as well. For example, to:

• Quickly look something up in your ATS
• Find new suitable candidates using AI
• Search or review job postings or interim assignments
